Sunday February 13, 2011-Snow golf

Hello faithful reader.

Well, Saturday was our annual snow golf game, played in the hills of middle Uxbridge, as per normal. A large crowd this year, 25 plus, and a wonderful pot luck lunch helped make the day a success. Tee off time is always scheduled for noon, but as normal we never got under way till about 1pm. There was a three way tie for first, but every one was cold, hunger and stiff, so the shoot off was canceled and we split the trophy three ways. I was on one of those teams. Yipe.

Sunday January 30, 2011 Blacksmith shop

Hello faithful reader.

Took a trip to the Blue Heron charity casino in Port Perry at Xmas and stopped at the Scugog museum for a photo or two.
Spotted this shop. Pretty dull day out so colours were mute.

Monday January 17, 2011-Kay's Birthday lunch

Its actually on the 18th, but we held a pot luck brunch on the 15th for my Mother in Law's birthday. I'm told it is her 88th.

Tuesday December 28, 2010-The first Xmas

Hello faithful reader.

Another Christmas has come and gone, but for us a small twist this year. Our daughter and her husband hosted their first Christmas dinner this year, and it went very well. A 25lb turkey was not really needed, but you live and learn right.
Dinner was fantastic, as were Erin's pasteries.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing an informal digital camera demo for two Ladies with new Canon cameras.
After the lesson, we walked around the farm to try out their new found skills.

Tuesday November 2, 2010-I have a son in law.

Well Saturday October 30, 2010 was a big day at our house. Our daughter was married. The ceremony was wonderful and the reception went off quite well.
Stress level is back to normal +1.
